• Frosty Lemon Shortbread Stars
  These are great fun for kids to make around Christmas time. Shortbread stars are sweet and buttery whilst the zingy lemon icing is a perfect partner. Try experimenting with different shapes too.
• Indian Roomali bread
  Literally translated Roomali means “handkerchief”. This is a tender unleavened flatbread from Central India. Roomali is tossed in the air like pizza, it is so thin that it gently floats down into the chefs hands The flatbread is baked on an inverted dome hotplate almost like an upside down wok. It is fascinating to see how Roomali is baked and folded from an 18 inch round to a 3 inch pocket sized bread. Whilst on a recent vist to central India I learned how to make great Roomali.
